Maybelline Colour Tattoos

Hey there!

Maybelline launched their version of cream eye shadows in 2011 and there is just so much to rave about these wonderful little pots.

These colour tattoos are firstly very pigmented and the colour pay off is impressive. They are very easy to apply and I mostly use my fingers.  I usually wear them as a base for powder eye shadows on top, however, when usued alone they do hold up fairly well. I usually always wear  a primer to increase longevity anyway.

I love the colours currently available however, I wish they had more mattes and neutrals for every day use.  The colour tattoos are of a comparable quality to MAC Paint Pots (these are of course significantly cheaper) so I would definately buy the colour tattoo first if they had in the shade I want as opposed to the Paint Pot.

I have bought mine on sale at Priceline for around $10 AUD.

I give the tattoos 5 out of 5 as I really can't find any fault!

Chanel Vitalumier Foundation Review

Hey there!

My sister was in search for a new foundation and she is not really a make up fanatic so she bought this within 5 minutes without any thought. She came home and realised that it was the wrong color and went back, they happily took it back without a receipt and exchanged it for her right color.

Although its hers, I obviously had to try it! I absolutely love it. Often I would comment saying 'your skin looks great today' (so natural you would not think she has foundation on) and she would tell me it's her foundation!

I love the scent, the texture and the feel of it on my skin. It feels very light. It's very dewy and has an amazing glow.  I have dry to normal skin  and I think its perfectly suited for that. As it is light to medium coverage, it's perfect for those that want to wear it to work or just out during the day. I wouldn't call it a super performance foundation so I wouldn't wear it if I was going for a night out and would be dancing all night also it does have SPF 15, so this isn't the foundation that I reach for when I know there is going to be a lot of picture-taking.

Of course, as with all Chanel foundations, the packaging is beautiful, very sleek and  the glass bottle feels very sturdy. This obviously comes with an expensive price tag, She bought her first bottle at the Chanel boutique in Myer for $78AUD and her second bottle from Europe for obviously much cheaper!

Overall, I highly recommend it as your every day foundation if you are into you are into a very skin like finish. I am going to give this 4 out of 5.

Fashion Inspiration: The Work Wardobe

I feel like I have worn all my clothes to work a hundred times (okay slight exaggeration but you get the point) so I need to go get a whole new wardrobe for work.

My work is a fairly professional place but it doesn't have to be all suits, you can still have a bit of fun. I love to buy classics when it comes to work so you know it will last you a while. I am looking forward to my major shopping spree!

Urban Decay Naked Palette 2 Review

Hey there!

I have been wanting this palette for such a long time (basically ever since it came out) and my sister surprised me with it and bought it for me as a present when she was in Europe (Best sister ever!)

I really wanted it but I didn't know what to expect as I didn't have the earlier ever so popular naked palette. However, I must say, I absolutely love it. I have used and loved all of the colors and there is a really nice variation  that it will cover most day to night looks if you are into your neutrals. Most of the colors are shimmery but there are also three mattes. Some of the colors in the pan look too shimmery but on your eyelids, they are not at all over the top.

The quality is great,  creamy and not at all powdery, just a great formula overall. The Palette also comes with a two sided very useful brush- ' the Good Karma shadow Brush'

I know that if I am traveling, this is probably the only powder eye shadow palette that I would ever need.

Thank you Sister!

PS. I haven't found it anywhere in stores in Australia, however, Beauty Bay does sells it online.

Some Pretty Amazing Websites.

Hi there!

So clearly I love makeup but living in Australia, there's one thing that usually comes in my way of buying something all the ALL the time. The Price. Everything is so much more expensive here and as much as I want to 'support Australia' I just can't get myself to buy knowing its so much cheaper overseas.

Hence, I do a lot of googling and talk to other beauty obsessed people like myself to find things online that are affordable and not 'fakes'.

I have listed a few of my favorites along with their links for you to go and indulge in some serious make up shopping!

1) Beauty Bay : This ships from the UK and usually takes about 2 weeks for my parcel to come through. Some popular brands include Urban Decay, Stila and Too Faced. I have never had any problems and its FREE SHIPPING. I can't recommend this site enough.

2) Kiss n Makeup: This ships from America and I think it took about 3 weeks for my order. Sipping is only $9.95 flat rate and notable brands include Smashbox, NARs and Laura Mercier.

3) All Cosmetics Wholesale : This site is MEGA, it carries soo many different brands and the prices are just insanely discounted. Be careful though, some are just travel sizes and some are regular, the shipping is usually a bit more expensive, I think I paid around $14 so buy when you have your eye on a few items.  Popular brands: MAC, Estee Lauder, Makeup Forever and just so many more.

I would love for you to comment below and share some of your favorites :)

Fashion Inspiration: Denim

hey there!

Speaking of denim, I just wanted to mention DeJour Jeans. If you are in Melbourne, then there is small little family owned business in Brunswick where they make and sell quality jeans and shorts. You just go in and try their tonnes of different styles or colors and if you need any alternations, they alter them for you free of charge (We got ours back in 5 minutes but if you go in peak times which is usually afternoons- you may have to come back in an hour or so).

When I went there with my sister, we were in denim heaven. They have so many colors and fits for men and women, I would be surprised if you didn't find anything and their customer service is AMAZING. They are all just soooo friendly that you know you will be coming back really soon!

Most importantly, the price! Most of their jeans are $50 and shorts $45, some maybe slightly more (and by more I mean $60!)

If you are in Melbourne, definately check this place out. They don't have a website, but I will post a link to their facebook page.
